The TrakRF™ Edge Server is a sensor-based device with middleware that serves as an application layer between RFID/BLE readers and enterprise applications, processing data streams, filtering redundant tag reads, and facilitating data exchange for applications in asset tracking and inventory management.

Data Processing: It manages events from RFID readers, filters out redundant or irrelevant data, and converts data formats.

Data Exchange: It provides APIs, web services, or connectors to enable bidirectional data exchange between RFID systems and business applications.

Device Management: It can manage RFID devices, including readers, printers, and sensors, from central or distributed locations.

Integration: It facilitates integration with various enterprise applications, such as Supply Chain Management (SCM), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Analytics and Reporting: The middleware may expand to include analytical and reporting capabilities.
